We are looking for a qualified Principal Software Engineer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain developed code
• Optimize deployment pipelines for python based projects
• Be a strong team player and work well within a diverse, cross-functional team
• Suggest and implement project architecture fulfilling the requirements
• Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues
• Assign the tasks to team members
• Conduct code reviews
• Developing application codes and unit tests
• Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support
• Providing training to other engineers

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of hands-on web development experience
• Experience in Angular (v2 Onwards) or React JS. TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with RestFul API is a must
• Proficiency with python and related web frameworks specifically django
• Strong working experience of supporting Linux/Unix, Docker, Containers., CI/CD best practices
• Experience working and integrating front-end applications with RESTful Middle-Tier Application
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong interpretation skills, including the ability to understand business requirements
• Must have worked on managing the code on any repositories i.e Github, Bitbucket, etc.
• Good knowledge of CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and web design principles
• An understanding of core web application design patterns with proven experience in software development methodologies
• Committed to sound testing, best practices, and documentation
• The ability to multitask
