The Manager Accounts shall be responsible for performing the following tasks:

Managing all the accounting functions at the mill site.
Managing the accounting, payments and other matters relating to cane procurement.
Overseeing Fixed Asset Management, Financial Modeling, Analysis Valuation, Voucher Management, Sales, Petty Cash Management, Financial Statement Analysis and Bookkeeping.
Managing all the payments and receipts and devising appropriate strategies to ensure that the companys working capital requirements are fulfilled.
Handle all the dealings and operations with the banks and other financial institutions to ensure the availability of finance for the company.
Coordinating with the different sections of the organization to ensure due compliance of the policies and procedures of the company.
Communicate with the external and internal auditors on a regular basis to ensure that the audit of the company is managed effectively.
Ensuring effective devising of the companys financial statements in accordance with the applicable IFRS and IAS.
Ensuring compliance with the taxation and other applicable laws and regulations.

Education:

• Chartered accountant (CA) with 7 years post qualification experience
• ACMA/ACCA with 10 years post qualification experience
