| Job Description: |
- Effectively understand and translate business requirements and needs to the necessary Business Requirement Document
- Gather and create business and user requirements for projects (large) and enhancements (small)
- Develop various artifacts and project deliverables (i.e. Project Proposals, Business Cases, Business Requirements Documents, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, Process Flows, Use Cases, traceability matrix).
- Validate requirements and solution design
- Identify alternative solutions or options to solve business challenges
- Exceptional English writing skills (grammatically accurate and concise writing) and Communication Skills
- Support the project manager throughout the project life cycle to ensure business requirements and deliverable timelines are met
- Proven ability to proactively identify potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed.
- Articulates and escalates issues and risks to the Project Manager and recommends mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate workshops for business and project teams
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and interact with internal/external partners/stakeholders on a regular basis
- Lead team of software developers
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years Business Analysis experience with medium or large organizations
- Experience in Business Requirements Document required
- Experience in process design and re-engineering is an asset
- Strong business writing, process modeling, problem solving, and functional support skills
- Experience in UAT Cases, Training Manuals and Process required
- Knowledge of project methodologies with exposure to full project lifecycle
- Strong SDLC and OOAD based project experience
- Experience communicating (both written and verbal) Excellent facilitation and interviewing skills
- IIBA certification considered an asset
- ITIL Foundations certification/experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of SQL, MS.NET, Reporting Tools, MS Office, Visio, MS Project, ORDBMS, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Windows, Linux System
