SRE – Job description;

Responsibilities;

This role requires basic technical competency in a number of diverse corporate technologies and excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, Core responsibilities are;

·      Understanding of the cloud platforms application functionality, system flow, and technology infrastructure.

·      Working with team lead on SR, Automation, and Infrastructure/DevOps projects, and for issue identification and resolution, problem solving and monitoring related to production issues.

·      Develop and maintain internal documentation on supported systems, issue response, and standard operating procedures.

·      Acknowledge, triage, and respond to alerts from our application systems.

·      Monitor key performance benchmarks for applications.

·      Participation in Information security supervised tasks directed by Information security committee.

Required Skills:

·      Linux (Ubuntu/Centos/Debian)

·      MySQL

·      Some scripting experience - Bash, Python, JS

·      Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers and Application Infrastructures such as clustering, load balancers and SFTP.

·      Understanding of any programming language.

·      Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios/Zabbix/Prometheus would be plus.
