We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant with working knowledge of Import and Export documentation and procedures. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in managing transactions related to international trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

Assist in maintaining general ledgers and financial records

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bills
• Reconcile bank statements
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings
• Support payroll processing and petty cash handling

Import/Export Duties:

• Prepare and manage documentation for import/export shipments
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, and clearing agents
• Maintain records of purchase orders, shipping documents (BL, invoice, packing list)
• Monitor LC (Letter of Credit) documentation and payments
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and documentation standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Basic understanding of import/export procedures
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Prior experience in a trading or manufacturing company (preferred)

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

(Sundays Off)
