| Job Description: |
- Conduct branch and regional audits in line with the annual audit plan.
- Evaluate internal controls and operational procedures for effectiveness and compliance.
- Review financial records, transactions, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory bodies such as SBP, SECP, and internal SOPs.
- Document audit findings, prepare detailed audit reports, and present recommendations for corrective action.
- Perform surprise checks, cash verifications, and reconciliation of physical and system records.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and report unresolved issues to the Head of Audit.
- Investigate fraud, misuse of funds, or operational irregularities when assigned.
- Assist in policy and process improvement initiatives across branches.
- Train branch staff on compliance and audit readiness when required.
